- Hello . . . I just keep this site in my spare time because I'm obsessed with weather, and so far haven't worked out all the kinks as far as going to college for it. I do, however, have a ton of training as a storm spotter - those classes are free to anyone with the interest. And I've done a lot of self-study. Let me know what you think of my forecasts . . . always trying to get better. I also post severe weather warnings for the Huntsville area unless it either pops up while I'm off somewhere without my laptop or I'm taking shelter from it. (smile) Hope somebody gets some good out of this blog.
